National Taiwan University EMI Teaching and Learning Center (NTU EMI TLC) aims to transform NTU's experience into a variety of substantive EMI resources to assist colleges and universities across the country in developing effective EMI teaching practices and collectively promoting sound bilingual education.

With EMI stakeholders (teachers, teaching assistants, and students) as the core, we have launched a variety of enhancement activities, including EMI Plus Teaching Enhancement Workshop, E2 Workshop, Inter-University EMI-TA Training, English Corner Facilitator Training Workshop, and student competitions (English Digital Storytelling Competition, Three-Minute Thesis Competition, 3MT). In addition, through "Mobile EMI", TLC has cooperated with universities and colleges across different regions to hold various enhancement activities, therefore enhancing the effectiveness of the enhancement activities (statistics regarding the activities and the participants are shown on the left).

The promotion of EMI also requires the participation and commitment of more people. TLC provides funding as a start-up fund to subsidize teachers from different universities to form communities, creating a supportive environment and a mutual support network, and encourage teachers to engage in dialogues and exchange thoughts, therefore, they are able to further understand their own strengths and needs for improvement in EMI teaching, then participate in the activities in accordance with their needs. This year, 109 community members from 40 universities and colleges participated, which is 25% of the total number in the country.

Moreover, in order to meet the English writing needs of teachers, students, and administrators involved in international affairs, and to share resources, we have also provided English editing software licenses to 115 schools across the country, subsidizing nearly 8,000 people.
